Bud Matthews Services

Bud Matthews may be great at HVAC and appliance repair but do not hire for replace / install appliance. We hired them to replace and install new refrigerator and dishwasher. Receptionist confirmed this was a normal service they provide. We also asked that they haul away all appliances including a non-working freezer and agreed to pay extra charge. When the technicians arrived they stated they are 'not movers' and did not have right equipment to move appliances from kitchen to garage. They eventually moved old appliances out and new appliances in. In doing so they damaged the refrigerator which we were going to sell and the door leading to the garage. Throughout the job they kept saying, 'we do repairs, not moving and installation'. They only had room for the dishwasher so could not haul away freezer. We eventually had the bill lowered by $125 but that did not cover cost of repairing door or damage to refrigerator which we were going to sell. Good news is the installation seems to be good with no problems.

Matt and Justin worked all day to fix my shower because it turned out to be a much more complicated problem than anyone anticipated AND because they promised not to leave until it was fixed correctly. Their customer service skills weren't learned in a training session. They've been treating others like they want to be treated since they were kids. Shout out to their folks. And thanks, guys, for your hard work.

We had a positive experience with Paul repairing our broken dishwasher. He seemed very experienced, knowledgable, and confidence-inspiring in his assessment. He was also a very pleasant person to work with during a stressful situation.

DO NOT use Bud Matthews for plumbing. They installed my Navien water heater completely incorrectly. First, the propane was constantly leaking into the house for months on end. Finally called Greene Hunt (recommended!) and they completely re-did the pipes on the inside of my house. THEN my hot water shut off unexpectedly. First called Bud Matthews. Friendly plumber came out and said I'll get this fixed for you this afternoon.... then just never came back. Good thing he didn't, though! I Called Bar-D plumbing (also recommended) and they came out - turns out Bud Matthews had teed into the gasline BEFORE the regulator from the gas company. They then installed a small regulator off of the 10PSI line, which of course broke in no time. So it's a really good thing that my Navien has the auto-off feature - my whole house could have been blown up. NEVER AGAIN.

Today we received prompt and reliable service from the hvac division of the company. Jon and Mat were knowledgeable, polite and friendly and willing to help with anything we needed. Call Bud Mathews Services for great service

These folks are just such kind honest humans. I’ve had them Service my dryer and ducts as well as repair my washer. Their scheduler and repair people were so Flexible and helpful getting our repair done days before I have a baby. They are so polite and put everything back just so. Truly rare in the world these days.
